    Default Rural Obscura

I've always been fascinated by the sight of abandoned buildings by the sides of roads. This one is only really visible in winter since the tree leaves obscure it almost entirely the rest of the year. Finally, after driving by it probably a 100 times, I stopped. Trouble is it's a pretty busy road, there are no driveways nearby and there's almost no shoulder this time of year. Ah well, danger is my middle name.

You get the neatest old stuff. I'm jealous. It looks to be in pretty good shape. I like the bits of light and shadow play in the first one, trees and building both. Somehow that seems to bring the colors out.

I wish I could have gone closer, but it's right in someone's backyard so I didn't. I suppose I could have knocked on the door, but didn't think of it. Yankee reserve don't you know.

Very interesting old building with all those windows and the peeling red paint. Cool find.
