    Default Outhouse on the Edge......

At the very edge of Stonehurst there is a footbridge (picture not processed yet) connecting a small island to the mainland. On this are a few houses. Back when they were built there would not have been running water (in fact I don't know if there is now). The homes are occupied in the summer only now. At the edge of the isle is the best outhouse I have ever seen! It's right out on the edge of the rock hanging over the water. I guess it makes sense- the homes are on solid rock so there's no way to dig a hole. But still, I bet on windy days, sitting there was a bit freaky!
In the second shot is my friend helping you to see the scale.
