Those are gorgeous shots. I love the colour in the second one but the first one is my favourite here. I wonder what it would like with just a hint of the water showing so it was more like a panorama type shot.

Thanks Iggy. I tried your idea. Here's what it looks like.
A nice set! The colours in 2 are obviously rather nice (bit of a tilt though) but I think I also prefer the understated colours in 1 and 3. It seems a shame to crop the swans in 1, but I guess they are a bit too far away from the shoreline.
Thanks Thoughton. The coloured one is sightly tilted. The shoreline does move away a bit so it will not be horizontal, however I thought I had made it where the CN tower (tall spire) was vertical but checking again it was off just a bit. The one thing I did like about the first one was the birds in the foreground. Maybe they are a bit far from the shore. Will have to think about it some more before deciding on my final version.
I love the crop. Others may disagree but it's my favourite when cropped like that. Great set regardless.![]()
great shots! Seeing these almost makes me want to go back to the big smoke...almost!
Thanks Kawarthabob. If you like hot, steamy, smoggy weather, throngs of people, traffic jams, and high taxes .... welcome back.
Stay where you are ... you can always come for a day visit to get rid of any urge to do it.
Besides we want to see more of your bird pictures.
Very nice Asnow, and have to agree with Michael. Really likin', that cropped shot.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
