I think I posted some interior shots awhile ago, Here's some from the outside... Seems like I was having a 'slanting' day






The History

Nice set and what an interesting looking place.

That does look like a cool looking place. Lots of photo opportunities. I'm not sure that the slant works for all of these, I do think it does work though for shots 2 and 3. Other than the slant I like this set.

Um, am I the only one that thought the second one was a statue of someone stuffing a flute in his nostril? Or do I need to have my eyes checked? It does look like an interesting place, even without the statue.

My 18-135 was dropped at work, and my replacement didn't arrive before my holiday, so I'm shooting pretty much exclusively with my 50mm prime, (must of the time there isn't enough room to fit it all in, The slant sometimes allows more in the frame, I agree with you asnow, it doesn't work with all these shots.

I think with the stone flutist, I was concentrating to much on the background and completely missed the ill placed flute.

I tried this handheld 7 shot pano yesterday to try and get around the lens limitations(I didn't fancy my chances at a 21 shot handheld HDR Pano!!!) :

Looks pretty good, especially for hand held. It seems like the ground is a bit curved, but it's probably noticeable simply because you have what looks like it should be a straight line.

Neat set. I am not so sure about the slant but I really like the bench shot and would love to see it straight
