Little Witch, visiting from Florida. She also flew a heritage tribute flight with the Warthog.
Red Eagle, a Pitts S1-T. She had a bit of trouble on the way home. Rather suddenly oiled the windscreen. The pilot did a good job of landing, which is tough with a little plane like that. She got banged up a bit, but walked away. But word is Red Eagle doesn't look like an airplane anymore.
Looking down Sneak Attack's throat?

Some of the static displays.
Beechcraft Staggerwing
Scarab engine. Amazingly, Mike isn't sure of what the airplane is.
Bugeye Sprite. The stickers indicate it runs in the vintage class in the Portland region of the SCCA.

Not quite a big enough engine to fly
Passing time. Or another type of flying, take your pick. He was one of the recruiters at the Air National Guard booth.

One of the big RC models had problems taxiing back in.
The rest of these pictures are sad. The first two are part of a Missing Man formation for Bob Finer. He died last year while assisting in a military training exercise in Florida. His plane got caught in a thunderstorm cell that came up very rapidly and was torn apart. All 3 aboard were killed.
This is Greg Poe's plane. He had a business doing stunt flying at airshows. He also had an active outreach program for youths. He died about 3 weeks after this picture was taken of a heart attack. He'd been riding dirt bikes over at Blacks Creek and was stuck suddenly after he got in the truck. There will be a Missing Man formation for him Saturday. I can't make the show, but it's close enough that the formation might fly over the house. We'll see if I get anything.
