Urban Details

This is a discussion on Urban Details within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; These are all interesting. I'm drawn to number 2, the shadows on board shot. Great exposure....

I agree with everyone - great abstracts and geometry. Image #3 is my favourite - beautiful composition! If I may, in shot #2, the shadow lines produce (to me, anyway) an optical illusion that the top of the image frame is wider than the bottom - not bad if that's what you intended. Again, really nice set.

Thanks, Doug. In the case of #2 I just liked the pattern of the shadow of the pergola.

I like the pergola's shadows, too. I had to google 'pergola' - never heard that word before. I just wish they were aligned more diagonally in the shot - just my personal opinion, though. Thanks again for the nice shots.

I also like the 3rd- I like the way the white part shows texture and depth.
