I can't get over a shop being called "London Drugs".... (!)

I love old gear ads though, although camera stuff doesn't personally do it for me (as I don't really have much history with cameras).

Let's see the inflation adjusted price of Canon AE-1 with 50mm f/1.8 lens. In 1982, the price was $338.88. The average inflation rate is approximately 3% per year in long term. The advertisement is 27 years old. Inflation adjusted price = $338.88 x 1.03^27 = $752.75. This price is equivalent to nowadays entry-level DSLR price.
