    Default Your Framed Shots

    Framing is a cool way to compose a photo sometimes ... feel free to add your photos in which you used some sort of framing technique.

    Here's 3 of mine of the same subject
    (Although this isn't in the Critiques forum I'm happy to hear it if you have it)



    This is one (which appears to have an amazing DOF) is a compositite of two shots I took.

    Framing is indeed a great compositional element just in case anyone is interested.....yup did a podcast on it a while ago.

    Personally, I would go get photoshop and use the top two, to paint the two together. I like the shadows in the first shot and the ocean in focus in the second. Third shot looks flat compared to the other two.

    You reckon I picked the wrong two photos to make a composite of huh mindforge?

    Fair enough ... I see what you are saying and actually agree now you've mentioned it. Although, I do like the first one as is also because the slightly blurred background allows the stone in the light really jump out.

    Well if it's big rings and a building framed in the blue one ... then yep ... it's right

    I guess to be more a 'Framed' shot you'd have to crop it in tighter on the Blue ring but regardless it qualifies. Cool.
