Hey guys,
I wanna show you my first try in popping colors.
I will try to find a better view, because this technique is very cool.

One of the reasons I chose this forum was because it's not huge and I believed that would present more opportunity to really see what people are up to and gain ideas etc from them.

It's working out great for me. This is a technique I've not tried yet even though I've thought about it many times before. This photo has inspired me to pull finger and do it.

it's very easy to do it in Photoshop :

- create a copy of the background or Layer>Duplicate Layer, then just Ctrl+Shift+U
- now simply select the erase tool from tool palette, and using the right size of the brush just paint over the areas that you want to return to their original color.

Yep I know how thanks ... just never bothered more than any other reason. Got one ready to go now and working on a another. Will upload soon.
I will say that it's not as easy to find a suitable photo for this technique though. Not sure I've been successful in that area.

Actually a better way, is not to use erase but use a layer mask. Then you'll find that brushing with black erases ... and brushing with white puts it back. Gives you more room for error I think. That's how I do it anyhow.
