    Default Alberta's Dream

This sculpture located on the North/West side of the Bow is by Spanish artist, Juame Plensa. The bronze, which is a model of the artist, encircles a living tree and has the names of cities and places in Alberta engraved across his body. Juame Plensa also designed "Wonderland" called "The Head" by locals.

Nice images. Really enjoy the composition and detail in the sculpture in the first two shots.

Very powerful sculpture and you've captured it nicely.

Unique sculpture and, of course, a nice exposé to show us several POV's.

Very well said MA, and agree totally. VERY nicely done on all three JAS. Really like that last one as if to show him holding onto a little piece of the natural world in the busy bustling city surrounding him, and reflected in the glass.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Great series. I think the black and while works really well here. I favour the last image, with the reflections in the window.
