The Not So Secret RC Flying Spot

De Havilland Mosquito. The battery was pretty worn, so the flight was short. Someone recently passed along some small batteries that will work with this plane.




This one's a bit of a surprise. For a while, Walmart was selling a cheap little RC Beechcraft Staggerwing. It flies really well. The battery and cheap transmitter it came with lasted a surprisingly long time, and when they finally gave out, Mike replaced them with spares he had sitting in a box.






Pretty good flying session, all in all. None of the planes came home in a bag. The clouds kept the temperature comfortable. Most of the time the sun wasn't glaring on the dirt or in the eyes of the "pilot".
