Since you are okay with editing and critique, i have a suggested crop to reduce the white space at left. This crop respects the original more or less.
I quite like the line in the light coloured countertop and how it intersects with the black counter top. The glass cake things are fab.
If this were mine and I had permission, I might go back and reshoot this but I would place those glass cake protectors strategically so that I would eliminate/reduce that very strong line that leads you out of the frame.
Hope that may help and here's the suggested crop..... Maybe just burning in that corner from the original would do the trick though...

Only thing I don't like about your crop, Marko, is it cuts off the words on the blackboard table and the foot of the main cake plate. I did try to burn the bottom left, but it looked too fake to me.

I was not too fond of this image when I first saw it, but it grew on me. What I mostly like about the image is the sharpness of the main cake plate dome. You can cut your finger on the glass knob of the dome.

Like i said, I did print it and it looks amazing in hand. The warm colors of the soft orange and blue light just makes the image. This is the coffee shop where I am having my show. I most likely will not use it (99.9% sure), and just let them have it.

What to crop is often a compromise (and very personal) when you are in a tight space like this. I too really liked the words in the original.

I can see the struggle here. I like both for different reasons. AT, the counter and the words add something special to the image whereas Marko's crop really highlights the glass domes. I've run into this type of problem before where you need to have taken about 100 different shots to get just the right angle. At least, that's been my experience
