Not sure if I pulled too much black into the image?

I like the contrast. The photo of the raft in the water is excellent, great tones in the water.

    Lovely variety.
Nice to see some flower pics from the city. I really like the the first one in post number 4. Very colouful and the yellow against the purple really makes the flower pop.
As for the CTrain - If I see any more construction I'm going to scream. It's not you pic, just the content.
Whats Calgary pics without some of the peace bridge. You amaze me with the number of creative angles you've managed to capture this structure. I admit that maybe too much black in that one image. Something I'm guilty of doing way too often.

Lovin' your street work JAS, and the beautiful Peace Bridge angles. You seem to bring something new to the plate for us each time. Such variety, and as always, so well composed.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Like others have said, wonderful variety of scenes. The flowers are just lovely. You asked about the first bridge photo - it draws my attention, and I like some of the colors that result from your processing, but can't quite make up my mind as to what I think over all.

And what's a river with rafters without a rescue team from the fire department? Do they have jet skis and pontoon boats, too? (ours does. Last time I saw them out, they were trying to herd a very lost and young moose towards a F&G team, to be captured and taken someplace a bit better for her)
