Topaz Impressions Test

The topaz suite of filters has added a new one to the list, Impressions. It consists of a series of painterly options for your photos. I may never do another straight photograph again.

Certainly gives an interesting effect. I do like it although I am not too sure I would want to use it too often.

A fun play may be if you used this as new layer in Photoshop over the original and then reduced the opacity. Kind of like an Orton effect except rather than a blurry layer using this type of layer.

Actually, you can make that sort of adjustment right in the filter itself.
