    Default Photography Holiday 2015

    Hi everyone!
I"m lucky enough to be on a self-guided night time photography trip for the next 30 days.
For anyone who may be interested,,,,going to London, Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna for 1 day, then Florence, Venice and Rome.

Some tips for fellow photography travelers....
If you want to do some editing using actual photoshop while away....DO NOT bring a tablet, mini computer. Bring your real laptop and suffer with the weight.
I bought the microsoft surface....and it's garbage for editing. A photo that takes me 5 minutes to edit at home, takes 15 minutes. Lots of differences in how things work and major frustrations just doing basics.

Ok now onto some pix - I will post all photographs in this one thread so I can find it easily in a few years from now...

Can I ask if the images look decent on your computers? Thanks!

First set is from London - 13 degrees warmer in Montreal than London - gusts of 50-70 km winds all day yesterday and today - not what I was expecting..and gonna stop complaining...lol.

They all look great but Big Ben is leaning a lot (not sure if intentional).

After looking at them again, #1 maybe a little too yellow for me (could be my monitor).

I hear what AT is saying about #1 but I think the colour is accurate based on the colour in left of frame. London does have very orange sodium street lamps.

appreciate the comments and I agree with you - even though im running photoshop.... it's friggen bugggy on this brand new 'machine' (surface 3)
editing is a pain in the arse. 5 minutes to edit....and 10 minutes debugging the edit.....and it's not the ram..... it's the tablet's OS and photoshop fighting it out. display resolution keeps changing on me...zoom in at 100 percent brings you to 200 per cent 70 % of the time.
i'll deal with the weight next time.....lap top for photoshop.... tablet's are for surfing only.....

Personally I have given up all but the most basic processing when traveling - even on a laptop. Anyway you should be out shooting or otherwise enjoying your holiday not stuck in front of a computer. Leave the edits for when you get home.

Really liking your "Midnight Tango in Paris", awesome image.

The shot straight up the tower is nice but it appears a little flat.
