    Default Kettle Valley Railway trestles

Historic wooden railway trestles serve today on a hiking trail. A forest fire in 2003 burned many of the trestles which were since rebuilt through the efforts of Myra Canyon Trestle Restoration Society. A wonderful hike.

The second one is kinda cool but my favourite is actually the tunnel.

Nice shots of an interesting structure.

I too am a big fan of the tunnel.

Just as an observation, (and as you said you don't mind people editing your photos) I copied the image to my editing software to see if there was some shadow detail that could be recovered. Low and behold it was already there without doing anything. I couldn't see it here in this forum (maybe due to the white background???)

I dig the repeating lines in 1 and 2 with 1 being my fave here.

RM: I guess I edited the shadow to black on purpose to emphasize the light. Feel free to post a different edit if you like.

Really like that 1st one, showing the beauty, and devastation once wrought to the area. Love that trestle.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
