    With the NX filter applied by the looks. Very effective on this shot!

    Thanks. It’s not really a filter, though. Three easy steps with levels and a Gaussian blur.

    Do you feel comfortable revealing the steps to create it.
    Burning the outside edges and adding a wee more sharpening might improve it even more.

    I’d be happy to share. There probably aren’t many here using NX2 so here’s a link to the steps necessary in PS and Elements. Using different values in the Gaussian blur step will result in varying degrees of sharpness.
