    rocky valley lutheran church was built in 1915 in dooley, mt. it was abandoned and fell into a state of decay until it finally collapsed this past july. here's a few shots from my visit there in september 2018.

    thanks runmonty. the church was leaning so badly when i visited that i knew it wouldn't be too long before it was gone for good. the old church in arena, nd won't last much longer either.

    Both shots have drama, but the second is my favorite.

    Very nice using the light in the cloud to frame the shot in the first. The sense of isolation from the wide expanse of the frame I think probably suits the subject more in the second shot. Apples and Oranges to my mind.
