Clock Tower

This is a clock on the town hall at Sandgate where we shot those Kite Surfers.
I got this around sunrise which didn't really happen today.

Is this and HDR ?
I like the feeling of this image.

This is HDR in a sence. I took it handheld and it all from one image that I darkened and lightened to create 3 separate files that I then put into Photomatix.

After that I took it into PS and open the 3 files again and layered one over this. Some masking, curves and sharpening followed to create this ... image. Not sure it's really a photo anymore.

If I wasn't lazy I would have grabbed the tripod from the van and shot 3 bracketed shots and saved myself some time at home

I really like the lighting and the shadows MA...kind of a neat surreal feel about it!
