    Default Vietnam Veterans Memorial

I was on holiday in DC earlier this month; on the 4th of July, I visited the Memorial for the first time in about 20 years. For those of you who've never been, the boomerang-shaped, elongated wall contains the names of all 58,000+ American war dead (and reflects, literally, some of the important sites on the Mall). It's very moving. Friends and family of the dead often take away a memento of the experience like this:

Very nice shot because you show some hands which looks like asianish skin and the name, plus some action.

Thanks, all. Simple graphic shots often have an appeal for me, and I'm glad this one works for you as well.
