    Well..maybe because it's close to home there is more energy over it? I know when people here see a photo of a sight they know..they are more likely to voice up..

    I don't think so ... I took that when I was in Western Australia ... I doubt if any of them have ever seen that.

    I like the first one MA...the background gives it more depth.
    They are both really quite good though...especially the SC!

    I'm sorry that I don't recognize this memorial and have to ask what it stands for, but they are both nice photographs that captures the sentiment of heroism and sacrafice very well.

    This is an Eternal Flame Memorial dedicated to all the soldiers Australia has lost in the wars.

    In the wall in the background of shot 2 are the names of the battles/wars ... 'Somme' ... 'Europe 1939-45' ... that sort of thing.
