Default It has History ... but no one cares

    Except maybe me.

I found an old Dodge tow truck in a field. Half covered by grass. The landowner was nearby so I asked if I could hop the fence and take some photos which was ok by him. He told me how this old truck was once busy earning it's keep as a fuel tanker at the Brisbane Airport many, many years ago. After that it did service as a tow truck for awhile before being parked in the field and forgotten.

It's a nice set, MA. I like the treatment on the first one too. Great stuff.

It's photos like this one that ensure things aren't forgotten. A story was passed along to you, and now you've shared it with us. One of the best things about photography is asking permission to shoot something. It usually results in a conversation between strangers with a common interest.

Thanks for sharing this one. It's my kind of shot.

It's such a shame you'll never find old forgotten cars like this where I live. Anything not used is immedeately removed or replaced. No old buildings, no old cars etc.
And as you show, you can make really nice pictures of it. Really like them!
Listen, three eyes, don't you try to outweird me, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.
