    Default The Stadium

This is where I was working yesterday ... the Gold Coast Turf Club.

    Part of the stadium ...

    Stadium Chairs ...

Looking east over the racecourse towards the sea which is just behind the buildings of Surfers Paradise in the background. In the foreground you can see some of the logo the grass painting guys were part way through with.

And here is a zoom in on the Q1 ... the worlds tallest apartment building apparently.

    Q1 - THE BUILDING:
    • The World’s Tallest Residential Tower and Australia’s Tallest Building
    • 322.5m metres high
    • 80 levels
    • 526 chic and modern one, two and three bedroom apartments
    • Luxury sub penthouses
    • Stunning two-storey glass-enclosed lobby
    • Australia’s only beachside observation deck at 77 Levels high( I want to get up here for some shots one day!)

If you are into buildings then here's the official site for the building ... Gold Coast 5 Star Luxury resort Accommodation Surfers Paradise - Q1
    and the fact sheet http://www.q1.com.au/_pdf/Q1_fact_sheet.pdf

The horses were i nthe stables across the road. We were still setting up for today's racing. After several weeks building in the workshop ... then 3 days installing, we go back Monday morning and rip it all out again for another year.

I had work to do I did see lots of pretty filly's though But no horses!
Back is holding out ... gets sore but seems to slowly be getting strong again. Being back on my bike helps ... and I've been doing regular exercises on the Wii which is surprisingly good!!

Some really cool shots there, MA. My favourite is the diminishing perspective on shot #2 but I like the skyline too!
