2 B-25s

Pacific Princess and Pacific Prowler are both B-25 bombers, the type used by the Doolittle raid on Tokyo. In British service, these would have been Mitchell MKIIIs. Pacific Princess used to be a photographic chase plane for Air Classics Magazine. (Rides are usually available at shows, for a donation. )

Starting a large radial engine is always a smokey enterprise. Starting, they sound like a bunch of Harley Davidson motorcycles starting up at the same time.

Note the high polish on Pacific Prowler (vain, isn't she?)
