Makes me want to go through my sewing room and see what I've got stashed there. Great play.

The others can have shots 1 & 3 Matt ... I'll take that excellent lighting and exposure in shot 2 thanks!

Thanks again all for your kind words. I have to admit, sometimes it is rather a lot of fun to see what you can do with an eraser (where I put the needles into), an old ice cream bucket (elevated the eraser to a comfortable level for my camera), an old Osram flash, and a coat hanger and piece of discarded metal. The setting up for the shot is just as much fun as the processing after. The shot itself is challenging, since I only have two hands. So once I have set up the shot, I need to press the shutter button on my remote, turn off the light (without which I cannot focus), reach in the pitch black dark for the flash and move it into the "guessed" position(s). Then hope I get it just right. Pray I don't disturb the scene by accidentally hitting it in the dark. Wait for the flash to recharge, and light from a different angle. And then, after 15 seconds or so, wait for the camera to do it's thing.
