    Default After the Cut

    After clear-cutting, planting red pine seems to be a common thing. I've seen it a few times. They look sort of creepy and bare in comparison to the natural forest, even decades later and in the bright morning sun -



    I took this by resting the camera on a chest-high stump actually. There isn't a lot of color and I think the monochrome brings up the drama and texture.

    Nice tones overall Would there have been more vegetation on the forest floor before the clear cut?
