I like this. Interesting combination between a silhouette and night photo. Was it not appealing as a colour photo?

Thanks. I've a longstanding predilection for B&W so that's what I already had in mind when I went there last evening. Maybe I should start thinking outside my own box - but at least I'm overcoming my aversion to highish ISO (this was 2000).

I so agree with this - many ways to shoot any object - i've gone back to identical places many times.
That said, you've done a lovely job here for sure!
