    Default Morris Slave Lamp Set

I bought this today at an estate sale for $200 (not sure if I am going to keep it or sell it). It includes two mini-lamps and a $300 light meter. Did I get a good buy?

Ok, I set it up and it all works but I don't think it will work with my camera. There is no place to plug in the cord into my camera. I have it on eBay, but if it does not sell, what do I need to get it to work with my camera?

I'm guessing you need triggers, a transmitter for your camera and a receiver for the minilite. Is this what you bought? Amazon.com: Morris Mini DC Slave Flash Wide Plus with PC Cord, Guide Number 24 with ISO 100 in Feet.: Camera & Photo Are those stands in the box? Are there two lights. The hard case alone might be worth the money.
Can you show us the light meter?

It does have two stands with reflector umbrellas. It has two of everything. Actually there are four lights, two big ones and two mini-lites

Here are the pictures I have on eBay

Looks like a nice little kit but the yellowed umbrella would have to be replaced and as mbrager mentioned you could get some triggers for it. Let us know if you sell it, curious what it would go for.

Edit: Who is the manufacturer of it? And model number?

Everything but the Light Meter and cable switch cord is made by Morris. I don't see a model number on the large flash heads, the small heads are "MiniLite S-V". Thats all i can find.

The large lights are Morris AC Specialists that have a built in photo-receptor that will trigger the units from your on camera flash and have a sync cord that mates to a pc connection for a wireless trigger.

Nice set and from what I see you really found a good deal, wish I had found it since it is even far more portable than the set I have.
