Have an Nikon D80? I have found out that the D80 in particular has this problem..![]()
Hmm..I think I read about this..maybe in my manual..I have to think a bit more but I've heard of this..
Thanks for the info, I think I have the same problem, will share the result.
With my Olympus I could do a long tripod exposure with OIS/VR enabled with no grief but I've learned the hard way that Mr. Nikons VR gets its knickers in a knot if VR is not turned off and will focus badly a lot of the time on longer time tripod stuff. Not saying that's your problem but it sure was mine![]()
