    Default Stained Glass Window Art

    Hi all
I took this picture yesterday and have tried to process it to the best of my knowledge.
Have worked on persipective, sharpness, burn and dodging to make it as evenly lit as possible.

It's a huge thing 10m X 15m or something like that. I am not good at estimating sizes.
    Exif speed 1/125,
    Av 5.6,
    ISO 1600 RAW

    Awaiting as usual

very nice! i have been trying to take a nice stained glass window pic. i had trouble making it all look nice. the center would be too bright. was is the high iso that allowed you to capture it?

    thanks Tirediron & Morgan.

I used higher iso because my histogram showed me that it was to much to the left and some pixels where cut out. Finally, the Iso helped me get the normal curve. I don't how much sensible this is but that is what I did.

Well, it was not evenly lit at the beginning. But to my advantage there is a building behind the window that avoid direct sun light. I try to dodge and burn (thanks to this forum ) and looked okay to me.

Anyway, I will try to shoot it again when it is back lit(when the sun is from behind) and will see if some of the colour will pop out more. (Experimentation)

    Thank you again

    I like it...

remember that you will lose colour value shooting at high ISO's.... for a static shot like this it 's better to use base iso with a tripod or other support device...

the barrel distortion is fairly dominant in this shot.... in this case IMO i think i would remove it......

    sure.. but this is faster...

the distortion is very present on this image due to the strong black grid lines... see how they are warped?
