    Default Flower Power?

Been away from the forums for nearly a week due to lack of internet *gah* I hate losing my net lol. but, whilst I was away it gave me a chance to play with some flowers.
I'm not "happy" with this pic, i'm still working on getting it "right" lol, but taken over 400 photos of this damn flower now and think i'm getting hazy as to what I want lol. any feedback would help

    The highlights here are excellent.
I'd say that if you drew a diagonal line from top right to bottom left. We'd have an easy time dissecting this.

The right side of the image would be the side that needs work and the work IMO is dodging the shadows by 10-20%. I would also burn in the second brightest highlight (the middle bright petal edge) by about 5-10% so that the highlight at the top mid right stays the brightest and becomes the true focal point.

    Hope that helps

I agree with marko, but I think to really work, all of the petal tips should be in sharp focus.

Hey - If I'd done that image I'd be pretty pleased with myself...
