    Default Shoot the Moon, Part Deaux!!!

    OK, there is another full moon, so I headed out just as it cameout to catch it at its largest.

    Here is my post produced image. I had to do ALOT of blending to get it to look half real. I still see as VERY fake. How natural does it look to you

    Not your best work mate. We can see the ghosting from the blending etc.

    Having 400mm (x 1.6) really helps.

    Yeah, mine is really bad, it does look a little sci-fi

    I know what I did wrong, I put the sharp moon image layer on top of the cloudy moon layer, instead of vise versa. Here it is again with cloudy layer on top

    Not very sharp but it looks a lot better than the first try More natural. Try banging up the contrast/levels on that cloudy layer a bit perhaps.

    I took your advice, bumped up contrast and levels, came out pretty nice

    another thing you can do too tiger is to select the moon in the layer then use a mask, a brush and black and bring the moon back to the focus it began with. shot three is fun and whimsical - nice imagination. :-)
