    was out with my sigma 120-300 2.8 /os
    and i think this was the best shot of the day
    as shot the leaves were more orange and yellow so to make the bird pop a lil more i tones up the green
    tell me what ya all think

    Nice pic. Birds are not my thing so I can’t really comment on that. I do think the tree branch that hugs the right side of the pic is a bit distracting to me. All in all I like it.

    Beautiful colours and wonderfully sharp eyes. This is an excellent shot. If I was to get picky I would have recommended a little more space below his tail and there's a stick going right through his head which is a little undesirable. Also your copyright notice is just too big and too strong - it really takes away from the image for me.

    You do have a good one! This is a very nice shot. Don't take it too hard. Trying to avoid branches in a tree is really kind of tricky

    I'm curious: what lens and setting were you using for this shot?

    Lovely image! Bird is very sharp!! Colours are quite saturated but i like them. I agree on the crop on the right side but at that level we are getting very fussy.

    Lens did great work only for me is over exposed image.With -1/2EV will be better.

    i was using a sigma 120-300mm 2.8 with a 2x convertered so shot at
    iso 320 at 600mm apature 5.6 shutter 250
