Please let me know what you think, besides the obvious merger with the swing and the trees. Also, the blue in the second photograph is delibrate.

The 1st image is a bit small to really see any detail but it appears to have a really nice soft touch to it that appeals to me very much.
I may have burnt in the sky a little to add a bit of drama there but I like it as is.

The 2nd image doesn't appeal to me very much I'm afraid. It looks like a scan of an old photo you've dug out of a 35mm photo album. If that's the look you were going for then well done.
But as is it looks like the whites are too green/blue. I'd be using the Curves function in PS to correct that.
I like the scene though, and in better light I think it would make a nice photo.
I see it in my mind taken early on a sunny morning around dawn with long shadows and fingers of sunlight.

I REALLY like shot 1. The snow could be a 'touch' whiter but that's it. Very well done.

Shot 2 on the other hand is an okay shot for me. I think there's just too much space on the right side and it's WAY too blue for my taste.
    Hope that helps
