This guy is becoming a steady guest in my garden (thanks to all the peanuts, I guess ) Anyway - normally he is a very shy bird. But last weekend even our BBQ on the terrace would not disturb him!
Nice one Moin. Nice DOF and colours on the wings. I would consider cropping out or burning in the bright spot on the bottom right.

Great photo! Love the way the light falls across his back. He is such a pretty bird too!
I might dodge or work the head a bit to get it brighter.

Agree with Marko. His head is a bit too dark (light across his back looks good, though). Cute little thing!

Thanks for your comments. I aldready worked over his head (it was much darker because of the light from behind him). But I'll give it a second try!
I almost always shoot my birdies with a dash of flash It lights up those eyes
