I'm thinking they are a bit too dark as I re-review them...should I go back to the same settings as the night before?

They are all much too dark, you are correct. Perhaps try backlighting the crystal and using a reflector for the foreground.

I think this shot is really close... am I correct?
Btw, thanks for everyone's input on these images, both this post and the other one...I'm really hoping to get this right as it's caught my eye and if I can get it right, I am going to give it as a gift....

I think it's time to decide on exactly what part of the image needs to be in focus Casil It seems to be different every time.
I'm wondering if a more direct light source to create more shadow further back in the photo might work well here.
Good point MA...I guess I'm going for the big crystal ball in the center...
It's a hard shot to get in focus because even at 6 ft. tall, I still have to stand on my tiptoes to look through the viewfinder and I can't find a step stool (using one is for me is a foreign thought....I'm usually the one grabbing stuff for other people...lol). Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I was about to say the focus seems different in every picture. I think it needs to be much more brighter to give it that sparkle/shine. And maybe not so many crystals in the foreground? And how about standing on a chair? Or is that foreign too?
