    Default Pumping Station

The peeling paint and rust alone are in no way remarkable, but combined with the flow of lines I thought it was a little interesting.

I think it's a good effort to make something interesting from something not so interesting. For the me the treatment saves it.

I like it, but is it just my crappy work monitor or is it slightly soft overall?

I like it! But a little bit of sharpening would do this image justice.
This would even make a great texture for layering in Photoshop.

It's purposely soft guys. BF has used a treatment he applies to almost all his images to create a feel he likes. He's taken the harshness of rust and created something almost ... well ... soft.
