I recently got a new tripod, the Slik 300 DX. Now I'll be doing a lot more long exposure pictures. This shot was taken with a long exposure and panning. Critiques please.

    Hi realist,

It's hard to be truly objective about shots like this as it's very abstract.
I'm not sure about this one. It kind of looks like what it is; just a panning shot of a static room. For me it's missing something. (perhaps something that is actually moving)

    Hope that helped.

Panning is actually a subject for a future podcast that has been on my mind for a while. Maybe in about 2-3 weeks I'll try to put one up.
