    Default Interesting or boring?

I like this one, but wonder if others find it too plain and not enough to be interesting. (It's an icicle.)

Unfortunately, when I compressed and resized it some of the light reflections became so small they're not that noticeable now.

Why does the shot have a very blue hue?

White Balance was on tungsten. I wanted the blue as it was a fairly gray day. That can always be corrected, but it was intentional.

I think tegan's suggestion was correct. The shot IS better without the blue and provides more contrast and is more interesting. It does seem to be missing 'something' though, perhaps a sense of 'tension' or 'drama' if that makes any sense at all. I do love to see the experimentation though!

I agree...there are highlights when it's bigger that got lost when I downsized.
