my grandparents moved there from England many many years ago. My uncle followed when he retired. He lives in Mt. Tambourine (I think that's it, does that sound right? ). He married an Aussie woman (3rd wife) and loves it there. I will definitely get there sometime in the next 10 years. it's part of the plan. and I'm good with plans
Mt Tamborine ... yep ... know it well ... conceived a child up there while camping about 22 years ago. I kid you not
It's a really nice spot actually ... rugged and over looks the Gold Coast. Awesome for the bird life too! Bring the long lens!

Oh yes, the photo! I was just wondering how we got from a retro looking photo to making babies on a mountain in Australia with Bambi's uncle, a long lens and a tambourine? :-D

    Thanks everyone! :-)

As far as critique goes, in addition to the already mentioned straps, I'm not fond of the little bit of cropped elbow. In general, it's not bad to crop limbs if it's done so as to appear intentional. In this case however (whether intentional or not) it looks like poor composition/cropping. Overall however, I think it's a nice image which certainly achieves the desired aim.
