    Let me start off by saying that my personal expertise is NOT in sports photography...but I have been told that I have a good eye.

    I like this photo much better and you should know that this type of photography is difficult, so good job.

    This photo shows that they are in the thick of the action. If I were the sports editior of a paper I might like to see the puck in this particular shot, but I don't know if that was even possible from your vantage point.
    That would be my only criticism.

    Given that everything happens SO quickly in hockey, I suspect that in hockey photography - the ratio of bad pics to good pics might be 20:1 and probably higher.

    On a separate note if you are looking for critiques, then these should be posted in the forum called critiques.
