Broken Bike

I was in a bit of a playing/experimenting mood yesterday and was wondering if I could turn this relatively uninteresting shot of a broken bike into something a bit more interesting. I realize it has sort of gone beyond the idea of a photograph but I am curious to know your thoughts.
When I took the shot I thought it might have potential for some experimentation and am wondering if it works or not. Just trying to keep inspired and to challenge myself a little in pp editing.

Its an interesting treatment. It does make it a little difficult to separate the bike from the post. The composition is OK, just a bit tight on the right. I'd like to see more of the bike.

Very interesting shot and angle! though I agree with Antz - this treatment makes it harder to see the bike.

I do like the tones here and although I'm not sure what treatment you used, the shot looks way oversharpened.

I'd love to see the shot in its natural state.

It's interesting, but I'm finding the treatment a little extreme for my taste. Is there anything in here that would be a good candidate for selective colouration? Say the posts to which the bike is attached (assuming they're not black).

I agree too. I like the treatment but it is hard to see the bike.

...I guess I should have called it "Broken Wheel" as it was the wheel I was more after and not the bike.
This is way beyond my editing preferences as well but I guess in trying the extreme end of pp (I find it too much for my taste as well) perhaps my thinking was I could find something in between (what I like and what I don't) while experimenting. Pushing the envelope so to speak.
This is an HDR shot thrown into extreme Topaz Adjust and then converted to BW...I didn't really do much else to this in Lightroom after except for resizing it.

I liked the idea, but to me it is too overdone.
