"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Not a big duck person but what an amazing crystal clear shot, well done.
“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
The light and sharpness of the water is really excellent. The ducks require a little more selective brightness and perhaps a little contrast in postprocessing.

Thanks tegan and AcadieLibre!
I've started experimenting more with the smart sharpen filter in PS and choosing it over the unsharp mask filter.

I shot some ducks like this a couple of weeks ago but wasn't happy with the framing. I shot a pair framed exactly as this one. This is just personal preference ofcourse.
Too me, the ducks are too far apart and/or too tightly zoomed. The framing cuts off their directional path.
The lesson I learned is to resist fitting two ducks in the shot just because you can. Next time I'm faced with this situation I will pick the duck on the right and frame him/her on the left third of the picture to provide some room for direction.
Either that I would shoot wide to make the ducks fit left third. But then you would lose the detail that is also desired for this shot.
This is just me though. The exposure and detail a great just as others have mentioned.
