here is a shot i took yesterday.
sorry about the size of the first picture, Its just hard to look at a shot properly when its shown much smaller then this.

Any thoughts are welcome. Im happy with the composition but ive been playing with contrast levels and saturation a lot. Its proving to be a tricky shot.

I really like number 1 more. The colour is subtle but intense (does that make sense?) Lovin' the clouds too, they have such character. I really think you might have captured it a little better if you were a few feet to your left and maybe a couple of feet farther away. I'm thinking that I would have liked to see a little more of the trunk and having it go out to the side a bit instead of sticking straight at you may have made it nicer. Other than that it's a very nice image.

The B&W is nice but I'm not as partial to B&W. Others are better at commenting on that world.

The first and second shots are my faves, that bit of color seems to give it an edge. Nice Work.

The third is a BnW conversion of the first. The second image was the first post work which never ends up being the last.

    and thanks everyone

I like all of these. The first one has a post-apocolyptic feel to it that I quite like. (not sure what that says about me, but hey, I digress ).

I also like the B&W as it has nice detail in the trunk.

    nice work!

I really like the toning in the first two. I also like the composition and angle of view.

Wow, I liked the first picture, the purple color gives me the impression of a dramatic scene, more than bluish color, which makes me think of lonely stuff.
