This is a discussion on slow shutter speed pics within the Critiques forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; I did some experementing with slow shutter speeds at some neat lights and fireworks. Lets hear some criticism....

    I did some experementing with slow shutter speeds at some neat lights and fireworks. Lets hear some criticism.

    Shot 1 is a good start with fireworks pics. It's an interesting pattern but way too much black sky. Beetle8 posted a fireworks shot recently here and you can see the difference.

    Shot 2 is interesting and the colour patterns are cool but the white light steals the show and the white light IMO isn't as interesting as the colour patterns.

    Keep practicing though!!!! Creativity comes through doing!
