    Actually - opening the file any where shows the all black. :(

    I'm not sure about this one TT :(

    I'm not clear though - all the photos are black until you changed lenses? If so, isn't it likely the problem is with the lens?

    what was the exposure for the black shot and what light was it shot in? does the exposure 'seem' correct to you?

    I'd definitely call canon on this one....ESPECIALLY if I put the 50mm on again and I see the same thing.

    Yeah, agreed Marko. Have you tried using the lens again to see what happens?

    *smacking head firmly* DUH! I just got the lens this past week and that never occured to me...Yes it is a new, not used. I will test it tonight when i get home..

    Tested the lens, it is ok. The camera is functioning aok as well. maybe a fluke?
    Maybe the photography gods telling me to find my knitting needles and that I have been a very bad knitter since I have barely knit a thing since I returned to photography?

    Seriously though, I guess I won't worry about it unless it happens again.
    But, if any one does come up with a reason, I am open to reading about it!
