    Default How do I do this

    i am new to the world of digital photography and i would really like to learn how to do some new things most of all i want to know how to make and image look like this. (below) any tips would be nice. Thank you in advance.

    for starters - i would use a basic 50mm lens. maybe adjust the white balance to get the peachy tone. now sure which one would do that tho... experiment.
    If you don't have those options... take a shot, down load picasa, use the center focus soft focus edge filter, convert to a soft sepia...it would get the basic look as an application you can do right away... brb, i will go do one and upload it for you real quick so you can see. see you in about 5 minutes.

    i took it into picasa 3
    did the center focus filter
    sepia filter
    saturation filter - a touch not much
    gave a quick sharpen filter
    saved file as a different name.

    this one i did in picasa 3 as well
    this time:
    did the center focus filter
    glo filter at default -apply, repeat 2 more times
    gave a quick sharpen filter
    saved file as a different name.

    if you want to keep the color, just desaturate it a bit either pre shooting with digital camera set to a lower saturation or pp. not sure what it is about the image that you are wanting to emulate. more info from you and we can assist better.

    When you first shoot, you are going to have to use a hair light too, in order to get the right effect (or just photoshop it).
