Thanks....does it show up on your screen in the original post Marko? On mine it says "no longer available"....odd???
Also is there a time limit for being able to edit posts? I would much prefer to just stick it back in the original post than make a new one...

Love this shot, F8. Love the title as well (Stormbringer)which for non geeks, ha ha, is the name of a sword from the Elric Series of fantasy books. The sword was capable of taking over your soul.

Default Shaft of Light threw Forest Shadows

This is my absolute # 1 Favorite shot. I went back to my hometown for a visit. I was at Kokanee Glacier Park, for a wander threw the woods, and to see the kokanee in the spawning channels. This is one of my favorite places to go. I have many memories of woodland walks, and swims in the lake. As I leaned over the railing to see if there where any American dippers splashing in the creek, a shaft of sunlight came down threw the trees and illuminated this branch. I took the pic with my point and shoot.

Its my favorite photo because its the pic that made me get into photography. Id always been a birder and used to see the camera adds in my bird magazines, always dreaming of one day being a wildlife photographer.
After taking this pic, I realized that yes maybe I could be a photographer, If I actually tried instead of just dreaming about it.

This photo will always be my inspiration.

Enjoyed going through this thread and seeing all the great photos.

Hard to choose just one, but this is one of the more recent favorites. Was one of those photos where how I saw and envisioned the photo being is how it turned out perfectly.

I'm here to learn so comments, critiques and complaints are always welcome!

I took this a couple of months after I got my camera and to me it was the first time I thought that I had truly found a way to capture the world the way I see it. It may be difficult to believe but this is an incredibly busy seaside resort with people promenading constantly but for 1/1250 of a second it was me, my camera and an unspoilt view to infinity.

I think most everyone who's here has posted on this thread already... I think we should qualify it. Such as favourite photo of 2010 or favourite photo of 2011 or something as my favourites seem to change every time I press the shutter

This is just a facebook pic, not the original. You loose a lot of quality when you upload to FB
