It just seems more and more photographers are getting treated like some sort of felons for just doing our trade and this bill is unbelievable. Just wow.

I agree that this is disturbing. However, if you look what else is happening in the states it is small potatoes compared to other rights violations. For example the proposal that women have to prove that they didn't cause a miscarriage- GA Representative Seeking to Make Miscarriages "Prenatal Murder" | WSAV TV

if one spends a bit of time reading in the states it seems that the US is heading towards a police state. Limits to photographers is certainly part of the whole scary slippery slope!

Wait until Michaelaw sees this! It is amazing how bit by bit the democracy we think we are in turns out to be more of an oligarchy or depotism in some cases. People have the right to vote .. wonder how long it will be before that is taken away? Or how long it will take before the process of voting becomes so cumbersome that it does not matter what butten you push, what ballot you mark: the outcome is going to be predetermined. And since Canada is soooooo damn close to Big Brother, it won't be loing before our polititians will follow suit.

Unfortunately, if our elected officials had half a brain and were truely competent at what they do, they would be off plying their trade and making big money rather than be a politician. Except in Canada where most are after attention and a rather large pension.

Freaking typical...Don't do anything to correct the issues people try to capture for the world to see, Just make a law that prevents it being exposed. Make criminals out of a once free people. I feel sorry for Americans, herded around by corporate sheep farmers, steered into pens and policed into obedience. Even when the poor buggers vote they get the other side of the exact same coin. I can't believe in my heart that they will take this abuse forever, one day they will rise up and take their country back!!! It just needs the right catalyst!
