Default Video Made from 45,000 Photos

I found this, as usual I was looking for something else and just stumbled across it. This video was done by stitching 45,000 photos together to create this music video, no video recording was used, it is all still images. Just found it an interesting way to do a video and also shows the what you can achieve with still images. I cannot imagine stitching 45,000 images together but thats just me. Even if you don't like the song, just turn down the volume, I found it well done, must have been a painstaking piece of work.

that is pretty cool. weird use of the doll.

I've done something similar with 5-10 pictures in a photo slideshow. It wasn't with pictures I took though. I've been wating to go out and take a series of pictures specifically to put together in a video. not 45,000. more like 20.

from watching the video, I think it would look best on a windy day. i like how the girls hair was moving. I also liked the flower. I might take flower petals and throw on my model. I'm taking maternity pictures for a friend next weekend. I might try to do some "video."

Doesn't the new Canon make video at 720i using all still shots but really, really fast? Or was it the new Nikon?

This is really cool by the way, thanks for sharing it.

The Nikon D90 does 720p, the Canon 5D MkII does 1080p.

    It's well done..

I did something like this for birth of my son but only with a couple hundred photos mixed with sped up video..

he's turning one soon and I plan on doing the same thing for his birthday.. I have about five or six thousand photo's of him and I'm hoping to show a years growth in a few minute video.. I have many in sequential format like in this video..

    good find

I didn't care much for the "video" itself, but the concept was pretty cool. Thanks for posting

    I was amazed.

And look closely at the lighting used considering it all still photography. Even at 6 odd frames per second or so it's great work I reckon.

If you really want to make a small video using a still images, get the new Pentax K20D. Being a huge Pentax fan, I know specs like the back of my hand for them, but in a small .jpeg format, it will take 21 frames per second up to 115 images. Yes 21 images in one second! Thats 115 images in just over 6 second! Anyways, just thought I would share that.
